One of the most important aspects of using integrated pest management or IPM approaches to successfully combat pests damaging your plants is to be able to identify exactly what you are dealing with (good and pesky!), and knowing their life cycles.

I have created a PDF reference tool with photos and links to assist you in doing just that. This document is directed for those of us in and around Southern Ontario (and bordering areas). Integrated pest management is a fascinating approach to tackle problems in a smarter and more sustainable way and I hope to address some of the tools and tricks I use in my garden this season in an upcoming post as well.
