About Christine's Garden

Christine’s Garden proudly offers wedding, events, corporate, and special occasion floral design services to the Hamilton, Toronto and surrounding area including the ever-beautiful Niagara-On-The-Lake.

Christine is a passionate horticulturalist, Master Gardener and floral designer who uses holistic approach in her designs. Whenever possible, preference is given to locally grown native, non-invasive species, making purchases that support local flower growers and agricultural economies.

One of her favourite things to do is share information about how to incorporate conscientious and sustainable practices into our gardening and floral routines. Our preference is to encourage customers to choose locally grown flowers to support Ontario’s flower growing community. Native plants and flowers are a beautiful addition bouquets and arrangements. Their continued planting and growth promote biodiversity and is crucial in good environmental practices.

We also are a chemical and preservative free florist to reduce our environmental footprint and keep Ontario’s water clean.

She also volunteers for the Ontario Horticultural Association as Assistant District Director for District 6 and is an active member in the Stoney Creek and Flamborough Garden Clubs.

People mean the world to me.

Sharing in other's joy or sadness, celebrations of every kind is what makes me tick. Being able to help make those celebrations and ceremonies a  beautiful success through florals is priority number 1. At the end of the day, being a positive part of someone's experience is what truly counts.

Flowers have had such an important part of our lives throughout history, and I believe they should continue to be accessible to everyone.

Christine is a graduate of the Toronto Flower School and continues her in depth floral training at Mohawk College. She holds a certificate in Horticulture With Distinction from the University of Guelph and is a certified Halton Master Gardener.

Prior to launching her own business Christine worked full-time as a Floral Designer locally as well as in a local family owned green house.
